One Complete Sweater

I did it, I did it, I did it, yeah!... in total Dora the Explora plagiarism (Dora who rocks my three year old daughter's world), I have completed the sweater. I trudged through the blogging, I wallowed in the boredom of sewing the pieces together and tonight I finished the collar. And here it is:

Monday, this will make the trip via mail across the Atlantic in time for my sister's birthday. Onto those socks for Johna. Thanks Jeanne for the suggested patterns from knitty.com.

Beautiful sweater! Congrats on finishing it - I'm sure your sister will love it.

Beautiful! It amazes me when I see the pieces of a sweater sewn together so nicely.

Hi, I saw your post in knitting blogs on the knitty forum and came to visit:)
Congratulations on your first sweater, it's wonderful. I know how it feels, I just finished my first sweater too, only mine was a baby size.

It looks fantastic! Great job!

Lovely sweater. Love the color. Cedar?
