I`m back!

Boy do I feel out of the loop. I love the cabin and we have spent the better part of August up there, but we have no phone. And no phone, means no modem. And no modem means no Internet. Horror! I hear you gasping!

So now it`s time for me to catch up on all of your progress and to tell you about mine. I have no photos as hubby has the camera and he`s still at the cabin, so you`ll have to wait.

First, I finished all the pieces for my niece`s cardigan. I don`t think I`ll knit this again. It`s lovely, but way too much st st for my liking. The only interesting part was the intarsia pockets.

I`m halfway through the combined shawl poncho for my mother and I`ve written up the pattern. You can find it here.

And I`ve just started on the Norwegian cardigan for myself - yippee: a cardigan for me.

You know what? Sometimes it's good to get away. It's funny how many things technology has given us that we now can't imagine living without... it's good to slow down and get back to basics every once in a while. So I say good for you!

And as Tiennie says, welcome back! :D
